My name is Erika Spofford and this is my 8th year as an ELL teacher at Chelsea Heights! 

Prior to beginning my career as an ELL teacher, I attended the University of Minnesota, Morris, and received a degree in Spanish and Latin American Area Studies. I spent the next four years teaching English in a few different countries; Costa Rica, Mexico, Japan and South Korea. When I returned to the US, I attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota and received a license to teach ELL.
