Emily Kraus
Hello, my name is Emily Kraus and this is my seventh year teaching at Chelsea Heights. It is my eleventh year in St. Paul, and my sixteenth year as an educator. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where I studied Spanish and Psychology. I completed my Masters of Arts in Teaching at Hamline University in St. Paul. Before Chelsea Heights, I taught second and third grades at Adams Spanish Immersion in St. Paul, as well as at Richfield Dual Language School in the Richfield district.
I live in Burnsville with my husband and our two children, who are eight and six. In my free time I enjoy spending time outside, especially visiting lakes and pools with my kids. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and traveling when I get the chance, especially to the North Shore.
I am so happy to be teaching at Chelsea Heights, and am impressed daily at what a wonderful community we have here.
