I joined the first grade team at Chelsea Heights Elementary in 2014 and the district in 1994. I had previously taught at Roosevelt Elementary for 2 years and at Four Seasons A+ Elementary for 17 years before moving to Chelsea Heights. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota and graduate studies at St. Mary's University. My degree is Elementary Education (1-6).
I grew up in the Frogtown area and attended St. Paul schools. My family and I currently live in Maplewood. I have four adult children - a 30-year-old son and three daughters, ages 22, 28 and 29. All of my children were products of St. Paul Public Schools. I enjoy traveling, trying out new recipes, arranging flowers, and just hanging out with my family.
I love the Chelsea Heights School community. I enjoy coming to work and seeing my curious first graders learn and grow daily. I know teachers and staff at Chelsea Heights work hard to develop and enhance the love of learning in all our students.
