Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Morning Drop-Off procedure: if your child arrives after 7:30 AM, please drop them off at the main office using the parent pick up area. This helps avoid obstructing the bus loading zone. Students may walk to class independently, or a staff member can assist if needed. Please note that teachers begin instruction promptly at 7:30 AM and are actively engaged with students. To minimize classroom disruptions, if you need to speak with your child's teacher, please schedule an appointment in advance.

Arrival: Our school day begins at 7:30 AM. Doors 20, by the cafeteria, are open and staffed from 7:15-7:30 AM. Students go right to the cafeteria where they can pick up breakfast, and then straight to their classroom.

School Bus: Buses will continue to be loaded on Huron Ave.  A staff member will make sure each child gets on the correct bus.  It is important that the bus tag we gave students on the first day stays on their back pack as reference for any staff member and bus drivers.

Parent Pick Up: For all students that are picked up in cars; cars will start to line up on Hoyt.  We ask that you drive down Hamline going north and take a right on Hoyt. 
Please stay in your car; a staff member will bring students to you.

Early Pick up Reminder: if you need to pick up your child, please make sure to contact the office by 12:00pm

Walking to Home: Walkers will meet at the front door where a staff member will make sure they get to you or help students cross the street safely. Elementary school students (PreK-5) who live less than a half-mile from school may have the option of walking to and from school.
