Services Social work services are available to students receiving special education, experiencing a crisis, having mental health issues, needing help making friends, having difficulty adjusting to school, and/or having excessive absences. Students can be referred to the social worker by school staff, parents, or by referring themselves. Services are provided in the form of individual sessions, small groups, or in the classroom.
