| Ms. Jill Gebeke |  | Hello, my name is Jill Gebeke, principal of Chelsea Heights Elementary School. On behalf of the Chelsea staff, students and site council I welcome you to our website. Here you will find information about Chelsea students, teachers, programs and activities.
Last year Chelsea students’ did not make Adequate Yearly Progress on the MCAII tests. Several subgroups; African American, Free and Reduced Lunch and Special Education subgroups did not meet proficiency targets. We will continue to work with all students to close the achievement gap.
Seventy percent of our Chelsea Height's students were proficient in math, reading and science. I excited to lead the charge as we continue to strive for academic excellence. If you have any questions or comments, you can reach me at jill.gebeke@spps.org
Pizza with the Principal
Part of our school's Discipline Policy is to reward children who demonstrate good behavior. Each month during the Awards Assemblies, names are drawn for a variety of prizes. Two student's names are drawn at each assembly to have 'Pizza with the Principal'. The attached photo shows winners celebrating with Ms. Gebeke.
