Room 108 First Graders learned about the 3Rs by collecting plastic laundry detergent bottles for ART! They
turned them into a giant caterpillar sculpture in front of the school.
Many parents helped us build the frame out of wire, rope, and PVC
pipes. Then the class, along with other student helpers, attached 100s
of bottles using twist ties.
Eureka Recycling was happy to recycle our art project for us when we took it apart. What a great way to learn about turning "trash into art".
