I am requesting that each parent send me their email address so that I can add you to my address book for quick updates and newsletters via email.      
     Conferences will soon be here and I am looking forward to meeting with you then.  If for ANY reason you cannot attend your scheduled time, let me know and I will do my best to confer with you at another date and time.  I want 100% participation in conferences with my families.
    There will be no Halloween costumes or party, just some stories and free time for games and art.  Sam's mom, Julie, will be with us to help lead some activities.  The children may wear orange and black to school on Friday in lieu of costumes.  No candy please!
    Our new volunteer Mary Anne Pretzel and I will be carving out a pumpkin on Friday and roasting the seeds next week when they have dried out for us to eat. Mary Anne comes in 3 days a week ( T, Th, and Fri.) to tutor students.  Mr. D.L. Diltz comes to tutor on Monday and Wed. afternoons, and Ms. Ellen McEvoy reads and leads a discussion on Wednesdays after lunch.  We feel very fortunate to have three amazing Experience Corp Volunteers in our classroom.
