Meet Mrs. Palewicz
The first thing that I'd like to tell everyone is that I am a St. Paul "Midway" girl.  I was born and raised in the Midway, and I raised my family in the Midway before building my "empty nest" dream home in Balsam Lake, WI.  Over the years I've found that the world really does get smaller and when I begin a sentence with "I'm from... " it is usually followed with...do you know...?

This is my 14th year teaching for St. Paul Schools.  After staying home with my children and operating a home day-care business, I received my B. S. in Education form the College of St. Catherine in 1993.  In 1998 I earned my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Cloud University.  This was the year that I also began teaching at Chelsea Heights Elementary.

When not studing, I enjoy spending time with my grown children, and their spouses, and my first grandchild.  My hobbies include gardening, food canning, quilting, sewing and reading.  Lately I've been trying to get my husband (and myself) interested in the more physical activities of walking and biking.  Check with me next year to see how that's going!  As you can see, I really enjoy working with children and learning new things.  I am very fortunate to be able to do both in this very fulfilling career.
