|  | | | | Gifted Talented(GT) | | Welcome to our Gifted/Talented web site !! At Chelsea we have over 100 children who have been identified to receive Gifted/Talented services. Mr. Giese, our G/T teacher, works with these children every week on Thursdays and Fridays. In the primary grades, we begin work with things such as problem solving, creative thinking, elaboration, creative arts, predicting-skills and themes which we will revisit during the years the students attend Chelsea. In the middle years we introduce the students to the Renzulli learning system-this has been described as a "breakthrough computer profiler and super search engine that matches how students learn to thousands of enrichment activities." In the fifth and sixth grades we introduce children to the stock market game-a simulation program where teams of students work together to do research on different stocks and decide where to invest. We also have G/T opportunities for the whole school with enrichment programs such as wordmasters and Continental Math.
