A Little About
Me:I've been
teaching in St. Paul for 24 years. I've had the pleasure to teach
at Galtier (4th grade), St. Anthony Park (Kindergarten), and
Chelsea (4th, 1st & Kindergarten)! For the past 11 years, I've
called Chelsea Heights home. This school reminds me very much of the
neighborhood I grew up in! Teaching Kindergarten is my true love, and
being able to teach close to home in this
wonderful school is a
bonus!
I have 2
children, Jake & Jenna, and they are both sophomores this
year! Jake is at UMD and Jenna is at
Roseville Area High School. I'm a
Minnesota Wild fan and follow Roseville High School hockey and Lacrosse. When I'm
not teaching or at a hockey rink, you will find me curled up with a
good book.
Classroom
Expectations:I maintain clear expectations,
boundaries and an academic structure that will prepare children for 1st
grade, and the rest of their school years. I want the children to love
coming to school, love to learn, be proud of their accomplishments, and
be confident
learners.
My Golden Rules:
- Treat others how you want to be treated
- Come to school to listen and learn
